Allan has been training with us for around three years now and is turning 80 later this year. He first started coming after losing his son, which was a huge turning point for him.
A good friend of his encouraged him to give the gym a try, and he’s never looked back since.
When Allan first started, he struggled with getting up and down off the floor, his wrists were very weak, and both of his knees had already been replaced. Like many people his age, he also dealt with constant aches and pains.
Fast forward to now and the difference is incredible.

Less daily aches and pains
More energy and confidence in everyday life
Gardening is now easier instead of a struggle
Allan now attends our Senior Men’s Over 60s fitness classes every Monday and Friday morning, and his consistency has been the game changer.
Training has simply become part of his weekly routine and that’s exactly why he’s seeing the benefits.
He always says, “I don’t know what I’d be like if I didn’t do this,” and that says it all.
Allan, you’re an absolute legend and a living proof that it’s never too late to get stronger, move better and feel better.
